MSc thesis project proposal

Distributed relative PNT for Lunar surface missions

Assignment

In this assignment, you will develop novel position, navigation and timing (PNT) and Distributed learning algorithms for GPS-denied or anchorless scenarios. Furthemore, there are numerous opputunities to implement these algorithms on the Lunar Zebro rover, which is build in house at TU Delft for Lunar surface missions. This project will be performed under the Moonshot program

Requirements

We are seeking a self-motivated student with a strong background in linear algebra and statistical signal processing. An ideal candidate should also possess a keen interest and relevant experience in distributed/array signal processing and/or programming with ROS/C++. Proficiency in advanced coding skills, specifically in MATLAB or Python, is essential. Furthermore, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory. The expected duration of the project is approximately 9-12 months.
