dr. Jianping Wang
Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3), Department of Microelectronics Themes: Radar technology
Jianping Wang received his MSc. degree in electrical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China in 2012. During his studies, he focused on the system parameters design and error analysis for various spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging modes and related signal processing. From August, 2012 till April, 2013, he worked as a research associate in University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, where he dedicated to FMCW SAR signal processing for formation flying satellites.
In July, 2013, He joined the group of Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems(MS3) at Delft University of Technology and started to work towards his PhD degree. Currently his research interests are Ultra-Wideband (UWB) imaging, antenna array design and polarimetric inversion. The PhD project is conducted as part of the NeTTUN project funded by European Commission under FP7 framework.
