Biography

Stefano was born in Gavardo, Italy, in 1998. He completed his BSc degree in Information and Communication Engineering from University of Trento, Italy, in 2020.

He also received his MSc degree in Control Systems Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) from University of Padua, Italy in 2022. During his master’s degree, he spent an exchange period at Université Catholique de Louvain (Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium) where he worked on his master’s thesis “Convolutional Neural Networks for Hand Gesture Recognition with Off-The-Shelf Radar Sensor”.

During 2023 he worked as a software engineer at Lam Research, Villach, Austria in the control engineering team, developing software for simulation purposes.

In February 2024 he joined TU Delft with the MS3 (Microwave Sensing Signals & Systems) research group to pursue his Ph.D. under the supervision of prof. Hans Driessen, focusing on Multi-Function-Radar problems and control-based approaches to solve them.
