Joost Jaspers

Joost Jaspers is an MSc student at the Section  Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3). Joost joined the group in October 2025 as part of his master’s in Electrical Engineering at TU Delft. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2023, he spent a year as a board member at YES!Delft Students, the student branch of the YES!Delft incubator, where he developed a strong interest in technology-driven entrepreneurship. His academic interests lie in systems and control, signal processing, and radar systems. Joost is currently on exchange at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he is already working part-time on his thesis project, Bayes Risk-Based Radar Resource Management for Multi-Target Tracking and Classification. Outside of his studies, he enjoys fitness training, winter sports, exploring new places, and technical projects that mix engineering and design.
