I completed my Bachelor’s degree at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, where I collaborated with the 5G Team at NXP Semiconductors Romania for my BSc thesis. After starting my Master’s studies at TU Delft, as part of the Signals and Systems track, I was excited to further expand my knowledge into the field of radar systems and I applied for the NXP scholarship program in September 2024, through which I first joined the MS3 group.
During the scholarship project, “Towards Cognitive Radar – Millimeter Wave Technology,” I discovered a strong interest in radar signal processing and decided to continue my research within the group.
Since September 2025, I have been working on my Research Project in Industry and MSc thesis, both carried out in collaboration with NXP Semiconductors NL and the MS3 group. My current work focuses on the design of a DOA estimation algorithm for lens-based beamforming in cognitive FMCW radar systems.
Outside of research, I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
