Biography

Ignacio Esteban López Delgado was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1998. He received his BSc. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, in 2020, and his MSc. Degree in RF Systems from the UPM in 2021.

He has worked as a research intern for the UPM in 2019 developing a computational electromagnetics software. Moreover, he has worked as a research intern in a joint project of Alter Technology and the UPM in 2020 and 2021, developing dual-comb spectroscopy and lidar systems.

He is currently a researcher and Ph.D. candidate in the Information Processing and Telecommunications Center of the UPM under the supervision of Prof. Jesús Grajal de la Fuente. He is developing radar systems to detect Parkinson’s Disease analyzing gait. He teaches Communication Theory, Communication Electronics and RF Measurements Laboratory in the UPM. During his career, he has coauthored one journal paper, three international conference papers, and three national conference papers.

He is currently participating in an international stay in TU Delft under the supervision of Dr. Francesco Fioranelli.
