Biography

Nick Cancrinus was born in Leiderdorp, the Netherlands, in 1996. He obtained his BSc-degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2017. He obtained his MSc-degree (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft in 2019. His Master thesis was done at the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3) group with as topic ‘A Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) grating lobe selection scheme for radar applications’.

From 2019 until 2024 he worked at Thales as a Radar System Engineer.

In October 2024 he joined the MS3 group as a PhD-candidate, focusing on the design of multibeam front-end architectures for satellite communication terminals.
