MSc A Frizzera
Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3), Department of Microelectronics
Expertise: Weather radar, phased array systems, parameter estimation, radar signal processing.
Themes: Radar for Remote Sensing and Targets Characterization, Radar technologyBiography
Alberto Frizzera received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Communications and Electronic Engineering (2022) and his Master’s degree in Information and Communication Engineering (2024), both cum laude from the University of Trento. His master’s thesis focused on the ESA JUICE mission’s RIME instrument, where he designed a radar simulator to validate instrument parameters in spaceborne scenarios. From 2024 to 2025, he worked as a Radar System Engineer at Leonardo S.p.A., contributing to the design and development of Doppler tracking radars for military applications.
In September 2025, he joined the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3) group at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) as a Ph.D. candidate. His research focuses on weather radar, phased arrays, and parameter estimation.
